Shower and Thunderstorms currently over central Minnesota moving to the quickly to the northeast at around 45 to 50 mph, Small hail is possible in the stronger storms

Shower and Thunderstorms are possible later this evening for the Twin Cities metro area and East Central Minnesota as the cold front approaches, There is a possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms mainly for large hail and strong winds but a isolated tornado can’t be ruled out especially for east central Minnesota north of the Twin Cities metro, After the front passas temperatures will cool down for the weekend with temperature in the mid 70’s tomorrow and Saturday even cooler thru the rest of the Labor Day weekend.
