Slight Risk issued for Thursday, 6/20/2013

Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk on it's Day 3 Outlook for Thursday for most of Minnesota except for the Southeast, Northeast corner of the state, This includes all of the Twin Cities Metro area, This Slight Risk is 2 days out so I'm sure the map below will be adjusted the next 2 days, Click here for more information from the SPC

 

 Before I thought about making this post early this morning, A Tornado Warning was issued around 2 am for portions of Brown and Redwood County in southwest Minnesota, This was radar indicated and there hasn't been any confirmed reports of a tornado, just hail reports, Severe Thunderstorm Warning is effect for portions of Cottonwood County at the time of this posting, That would be a pretty interesting awakening to a Tornado Warning this early in the morning, This is one of those situations where you shoulld get to shelter since tornadoes are hard to see at night and keep up date on the latest information from a radio,TV or internet, below is a radar image I posted too Twitter as well as Facebook and Google+ shortly after the Tornado Warning was issued, Have a good day, Be careful out there!
