Wind advisory in affect until 7pm this evening, Wind gust could peak around 40 to 45 mph so hold on to your hats or you could have very bad hair day, there already has been some reports around the area of winds gusting around 40mph or higher.
Showers have been rotating around a low pressure located over Lake Superior and moving southward from northern Minnesota, these showers could effect the area for the rest of the afternoon
The weekend is around the corner and some of you might be going on a little fall color chase but I warn you with these strong winds happening today I’ve been noticing the winds blowing those leaves off the trees, but anyway here is your updated fall color forecast.
Fall Colors are starting to peak in portions of the state including just north and west of the Twin Cities metro, northeast Minnesota, and portions of central Minnesota as you can see in the map below
If you plan on traveling into Wisconsin, Northern parts of the state are hitting it’s peak and or ay least 50-75% as you can from the map below.
hopefully there is still some leaves left on the trees after today, Nice weather in store for this weekend so get and enjoy it
