Wind Chill Warning becomes Extreme Cold Warning

Yesterday news came out through out the media that The National Weather Service has changed the Wind Chill Warning to Extreme Cold Warning.

In the past a Wind Chill Warning was issued for Wind Chills at minus 35° or lower, but when there was no wind and temperatures would be minus 35° or lower no warning would be issued.

The Extreme Cold Warning will be issued for Winds Chills and/or Temperatures of minus 35° or lower.
