Rain moves out, Colder temperatures tonight

Good Morning, A Frost Advisory has been issued for portions of east central and northeast Minnesota and a good portion of northern Wisconsin from 1 AM to 8 AM Monday morning, you can check out more information at the NWS/Twin Cities Website

Some pretty decent amount of rain came thru area yesterday afternoon and thru the nighttime hours and now has moved off to the southeast, I haven't seen any official totals yet or I haven't looked hard enough but radar estimates indicated about a half an inch in portions of southern Minnesota to a inch or more of rain for portions central Minnesota and Western Wisconsin but everyone at least picked up a quarter inch of rain, Not a drought buster but it helps, National Weather Service should have some official amounts out soon, When they come out I'll post them on the chat program above that I use for my Short Posts & Weather Updates and on my Twitter account if you follow me there.

Skies will slowly clear from northwest to southeast high temperatures will mainly be in the mid 60's, a little cooler to the north a little warmer to the southwest, lows tonight from the mid 40's south and west and low to mid 30's to the north and northeast as you can see in the temperature maps below courtesy of National Weather Service

Cover your sensitive plants if you're under the Frost Advisory, Temperatures should recover into the mid to upper 60's with 70's possible in southwest Minnesota on Monday with lows not as cold on Monday night, looks like the next possibility of rain could be Tuesday night into Wednesday for portions of the area, mainly over southern Minnesota and southern Wisconsin at this time.

One final item, NWS/Twin Cities has provided the Fall Colors Report for Minnesota & Wisconsin, I have made those links available below.

Finally as I'm finishing up this post, The sun has made an appearance here this morning in the Twin Cities North Metro, Have a Good Day, J.T.
