Cool Tempertures tonight, Warmer tomorrow into next week

Frost Advisory and Freeze Warning for Northeast Minnesota and portions of Wisconsin overnight tonight until 8:00 AM tomorrow morning

That high pressure you see between Alexandria and Little Falls on the map above will move eastward across the I-35 corridor and will keep the winds light and the temperatures seasonably cool overnight. As you can see on the map below temperatures will drop into the mid and low 30's across northeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin with temperatures around freezing in northeast wisconsin and the U.P. Michigan.

Warmer tomorrow especailly to the west as tempertures could reach around 80 in southwest Minnesota but still staying cooler to the north and east.

But with the temperatures rebounding tomorrow will also bring some southeasterly breezes and wind gusts around 25 mph in the afternoon as you see in the map below for 1 PM local time

Temperatures should stay above normal especially during the day and it will stay dry for most of the week with a small chance of rain for western Minnesota for Monday night, It will be breezy on Monday and again on Thursday with the next chance precipitation across the region on Friday and Saturday.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, J.T.
