Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Sunday morning thru Monday morning

Accumulating snows return for Sunday. A broad area of 2 to 5 inches of snow is expected to fall on Sunday along and southwest of New Ulm to the Twin Cities to Balsam Lake line. Snow will move into southwest and south central Minnesota after midnight and move into western Wisconsin after 6 AM. Light to moderate snow is expected to fall for much of the day and into the evening hours on Sunday.

The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities/ Chanhassan, MN has issued a Winter Weather Advisory which is in effect from 6 AM Sunday to 6 AM Monday. A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
