Snow in the forecast for Sunday

NWS Twin Cities Weather Story: Another very cold day is in store for the region today, with snow entering the area by daybreak Sunday, and accumulating into Monday. The highest accumulations are expected across southern Minnesota into central Wisconsin, where 3-6 inch accumulations of fluffy snow are possible by late Sunday night. Monday will be a blustery day, with areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Taken a look at the current map with radar. The system that will affect us tomorrow is sitting over Nevada affecting portions of the Rocky Mountains and California as well.

Meanwhile Decembuary continues as we should get into the teens tomorrow but then we bottom out again for a first part of next week. Looks like we should get in the 20s by Thursday. If you plan on getting out today to do some Christmas shopping or run some errands, dress appropriately.
