The Weather Story image courtesy of the NWS/Twin Cities, MN pretty much tells story from their perspective, and it also saves me some work for this blog....LOL.
Southerly winds increase today and tomorrow which will bring warmer temperatures with wind gusts around 35 mph, I notice the winds have picked here a little bit already with steady winds reported out of the SSE at 18 mph at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine which isn't far from my location, Rain chances will increase Friday Night and continue onto Saturday as the cold Front moves across the area, significant amounts of rain will be in west central Minnesota into northern Minnesota with a inch possible north of line from Appleton to Little Falls. here in the Twin Cities metro area, southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin could only see about a quarter of a inch.
The current map above shows the low pressure taking shape with the cold front thru the central dakotas, the cold front will move through the area Friday night and Saturday with Sunny mild weather for Sunday.
