Snow in Northern Minnesota, Rain and few Thunderstorms possible over southern Minnesota on Saturday

Northwest Minnesota: 6 to 12 inches of snow expected in the Winter Storm Warning area with the higher amounts more likely on the North Dakota side of the border, up too 4 inches snow is possible in the Winter Weather Advisory area, winds of to 15 to 25 mph out of the east-northeast tonight, shifting out of the north at 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts on Saturday

Northeast Minnesota: This will be a Freezing Rain or Wintery Mix situation in this part of the state mainly along the Canadian border, Ice accumulations up to a tenth of a inch in areas of International Falls and the Gun Flint trail

Rain and a few thunderstorms possible on Saturday , Slight Risk for Severe Thunderstorms is possible for south central Minnesota, Most of the Severe Weather will stay out of Minnesota, But I guess you can’t rule out severe thunderstorm in southern Minnesota if the SPC thinks it’s possible. We’ll see if this stays the same when this is updated on Saturday

Rain accumulation between .25 and .50 inches in some areas, but most areas will see .10 and .25 inches
