Snow in Northern Minnesota, Rain and few Thunderstorms possible over southern Minnesota on Saturday

Northwest Minnesota: 6 to 12 inches of snow expected in the Winter Storm Warning area with the higher amounts more likely on the North Dakota side of the border, up too 4 inches snow is possible in the Winter Weather Advisory area, winds of to 15 to 25 mph out of the east-northeast tonight, shifting out of the north at 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts on Saturday

Northeast Minnesota: This will be a Freezing Rain or Wintery Mix situation in this part of the state mainly along the Canadian border, Ice accumulations up to a tenth of a inch in areas of International Falls and the Gun Flint trail

Rain and a few thunderstorms possible on Saturday , Slight Risk for Severe Thunderstorms is possible for south central Minnesota, Most of the Severe Weather will stay out of Minnesota, But I guess you can’t rule out severe thunderstorm in southern Minnesota if the SPC thinks it’s possible. We’ll see if this stays the same when this is updated on Saturdayslight risk
